M83 made this disc just after composing the sound track for 'Police Academy'. To write Before the dawn heals us, M83 lived on a diet of Scheweps and granola. Luckily, it doesn't come across too much in the music. M83 is to electro what Boticelli is to painting: a master. After something like this, how can you not adore the 2000s?
