Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet and so is Yvonne MAURY. Medley Nougaro leaves the listener astounded, often moved, sometimes in a total state of shock but, rarely sleepy. The gutteral sounds on Yvonne MAURY remind me of the incantations of Big Chief Run-A-Muck. It's nice, this idea of adding a tin whistle in the background.
