Troubles
I can't be objective. I've always had a hard time listening to Alicia keys. At first, Troubles seems light but after a few listenings it becomes beautiful, perhaps too beautiful. The gutteral sounds on Alicia keys remind me of the incantations of Big Chief Run-A-Muck. The 2000s: the golden years of surf, turf and funk.
