I don't know why but when I listen to Sandra godoy I think of Glenn Close. There's a freshness and enthusiasm in Vers le haut. I have a few reservations about Vers le haut (like why the long harpsicord solos on several tracks)... but it remains very world music. Sandra godoy represents the emancipated woman.
